Why called Mayokia Safaris?

Mayokia is the popular word in one of the a local languages meaning “let them say, or let them talk” God is with me. This is a word of encouragement in a sense that whatever you do please don’t give up. Therefore Mayokia is a call for hard work. Our name and logo creates a smile on the face of Ugandans and the visitors. The name Mayokia makes us proud.

Mayokia Safaris established warm and cordial relationship with hotels and lodges in Kampala and around National Parks. You can do your booking through our agent or online 3 to 6 months in advance. This allows us to purchase Gorilla and Chimp permits for you at a convenient time. Our official language is English, but other languages like Kiswahili and local languages are spoken too.

In the near future Mayokia will venture in to sport hunting and we are not afraid of this since one of the director is a fully fledged professional hunter and a tour guide.

Mayokia Safaris welcome visitors/ tourists from any corner of the world. Currently we are marketing trips for a more international clientele. Since then, we strive to become Uganda's leading safaris company by choice. We organize private and group tours for trips across Uganda and the future extensions will cover South Sudan where the world’s largest animal’s migration takes place annually.

3. Budget safaris & group tours

Mayokia Safaris offers budget tours to groups and individuals in all the major Uganda's National Parks, including: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Kidepo Valley and Lake Mburo.
